In October, two of our VCAL students received an award at at the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula VCAL Awards. Luke Batty (VCAL level intermediate) and Kia Milburn (VCAL level senior) were part of about 40 students in the region to receive an award this year.

It's been a bumper few months for students in our Community Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) program in Frankston. The program is for young people who have left school and offers a hands-on option for Years 11 and 12, providing practical work-related experience, literacy and numeracy skills, and the opportunity to build personal skills that are important for life and work.
Luke received his award in Program Excellence, and Kia in the Commendation/General Award category. This is a huge achievement, and the VCAL team is incredibly proud.
Congratulations also to the VCAL senior class on successfully achieving a Year 12 Senior VCAL certificate and graduating in November. The graduates will pursue careers in the army, building industry, computer programming, travel, aged care, community service, and land conservation.
We wish all our VCAL graduates and students the very best for the future. Congratulations!
