Some of our stores are temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 crisis.

We have temporarily closed our op shops

Due to the Victorian State Government’s Stage 4 COVID-19 restrictions, all our op shops are temporarily closed. We hope to re-open soon after the restrictions have lifted.

This means we can no longer receive or collect donated goods.

While they are closed, please don’t leave goods outside our stores.

You can keep up-to-date with the status of our op shops and when they re-open by following us on Facebook and Instagram . We’d love to hear how you are managing through this time and invite you to post your stories, tips and advice with the wider BSL community to make this period a little easier.

Learn about the ways you can continue to support our mission to serve the most disadvantaged in our community, who need us now more than ever.

Help support our COVID-19 response

We know many people are doing it tough right now. For people in our community facing deep disadvantage, they need our help now, even more than ever.

If you still have the ability, we would greatly appreciate your donation to help us restore hope for the most vulnerable in our community.

Your kind donation will help BSL support the increased needs of those experiencing disadvantage due to the impacts of COVID-19.

This includes the continuity of our essential services, such as helping parents (often single parents or recent arrivals) with the resources to support their children’s education and development while they’re at home, and helping job seekers with employment opportunities.

In a crisis of this kind, we must not forget we are a community.

Now is the time for compassion.
