These programs are for parents from a refugee and migrant background to learn new ways to parent, in particular how to recognise, understand and respond to their children’s emotions.
Guided by BSL’s 2019 to 2023 strategic plan, the Safer and Stronger Community program aims to develop new approaches to prevent family violence and violence against women in migrant and refugee communities.
The Breakfast Club welcomes primary aged children and their families for the most important meal of the day, laying the foundations for better concentration and participation at school.
The BSL After School Program utilise strengths-based and growth-mindset approaches to support primary school students in discovering an enjoyment and motivation for learning.
A supported Playgroup and Home Visit Program Our playgroups offer a stimulating engagement opportunity for children and parents to make connections and learn together in a safe and culturally appropriate environment.
