Research Officer

Andrew Wallace joined the Youth Opportunities team of the Social Policy and Research Centre in 2021. He holds a Bachelors in History and a Masters in Sociology, both from the University of Oxford.

Andrew previously worked as an education specialist with young people in out-of-home care, and before that as a youth worker with young people seeking asylum.

At BSL he is developing the Youth Opportunities Compass for the National Youth Employment Body (NYEB) . The Compass is a data tool built in consultation with communities to allow them to explore and evidence questions specific and relevant to their place and context.
