BSL congratulates Sam Mostyn AO on her incredibly well-deserved appointment as Governor-General.

A fierce advocate for improving social and economic opportunities for women and young people, Sam has been the Chair of our National Youth Employment Body (NYEB) since its establishment in 2018, championing policy, advocacy and systemic change efforts to fight youth unemployment in Australia.

We have been extremely fortunate to have Sam’s strategic direction, guidance and support helping to drive the success of the NYEB and thank her for her unwavering leadership and dedication over the past 6 years.

From all of us at BSL, we wish Sam the very best in her exciting new endeavour and know she will bring the same integrity and leadership to the role of Governor-General as she brings to everything she does.
