Get involved in Anti-Poverty Week

Published
3 October 2017

As a proud sponsor of Anti-Poverty Week, 15-21 October, we ask you to take part in one of the many activities we’re running.

During Anti-Poverty Week all Australians are encouraged to organise or take part in an activity to highlight or overcome issues of poverty and hardship, to strengthen understanding of the causes and consequences of poverty and hardship, in Australia and around the world. Poverty is not just having too little money to live on. It can also mean being shut out from many other aspects of social and economic life that people take for granted – a job, a home, being connected to community. Get involved in one of our activities.

The Brotherhood of St Laurence has assisted disadvantaged people for almost nine decades. By making a donation, you can help the most vulnerable members of our society build a brighter future.
