Last updated 24 November 2021
As of Friday 19 November 2021, eased restrictions are now in place as Victoria has reached its 90% vaccination rate.
Key changes include:
- Face mask requirements have now been relaxed with no need to wear one in some indoor and most outdoor settings (exceptions apply). Face masks are strongly recommended where physical distancing cannot be maintained.
- Density or capacity limits no longer apply in most settings.
- No restrictions on how many people can visit you at home.
For a full description of the latest changes to restrictions, please refer to the statement from the Premier as well as this guide to the changes in Phase D of the Roadmap.
IMPACT ON BSL
We are still working through many of the changes that will impact the Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL) work sites and you will receive further advice next week.
Things we do know will affect BSL work sites include:
- You must be either fully vaccinated OR exempt to attend BSL work sites. Further conditions apply for aged care and retail settings.
- Face masks do not need to be worn but are still required in some settings including op shops and aged care facilities. A face mask must be carried at all times where social distancing is not possible.
- Face masks must be worn when travelling to or from a BSL work site via public transport, taxi, or rideshare.
- All BSL work sites must have a COVIDSafe Plan for the protection of its staff, customers and visitors. COVIDSafe Plans are site-specific and can obtained from the COVIDSafe Officer at your site.
- Everyone visiting a BSL work site must continue to check-in using the Service Victoria app.
