BSL Grow – City of Whittlesea

A free early years program for families with children aged 2–3 years

BSL Grow – City of Whittlesea is a program for families with 2-3 year old children in areas such as Epping, Lalor, Mill Park, South Morang, and Mernda, Whittlesea township, Wollert, Donnybrook, Eden Park and surrounds. We work with local services to support your child’s learning, development and health - so they can thrive, feel safe, and belong.

Meet the team

Binaz – Family Coach

Binaz has been working with BSL for 7 years supporting families from asylum seeker and refugee backgrounds to connect to community in the Whittlesea area.

She worked 23 years in Syria in Family Law and speaks English and Arabic. Binaz is passionate in supporting families, especially families where English is not their first language.

She looks forward to meeting you.

Angela – Family Coach

Angela is passionate about supporting families and making sure you feel welcome, understood and respected.

She has worked at BSL for over six years and has more than 12 years of experience helping families from various backgrounds. She's also a qualified Early Childhood Teacher, with skills in early intervention and family support.

As a Family Coach, Angela enjoys getting to know families. She works alongside you in a supportive way. She's here to help you feel confident, recognise your strengths, and connect with services that will help your child learn and thrive.

Angela is a parent to an almost three-year-old. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with my family and being in nature.

Zoe – Community Connector

Zoe is a qualified Early Childhood Educator and has worked with young children for 10 years.

She has worked with BSL at the Jindi Family and Community Centre for 3 years.

Zoe's job has helped her learn a lot about the local area and build strong connections with the community.

Zoe is excited to work with the community in her role as Community Connector. She will be working at Jindi and across the City of Whittlesea on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
