If you are eligible, fill out the relevant readiness form listed below and submit your completed form directly to the Foyer you are interested in applying to.
You can fill this form out by yourself or fill it out with someone you trust. The form can be filled in by typing onto the document and emailing it to the contact details listed on the bottom of the form, OR you can print the form and complete it manually, and then post it; scan and email it; or drop it into the Foyer.
The information in these forms will be assessed by Foyer staff to determine if the Foyer is right for you.
A TAFE teacher or youth development worker will meet with you and assess your skills and learning. This will help work out your education and training options.
Then Foyer staff will will meet with you and talk to the people you listed as referees on the form. This is done to hear more about your situation and goals to help us work out if the Foyer is right for you.
You will then be invited to a group activity. There’ll be lots of group activities at the Foyer - this is a chance for us to see that you feel okay working with others in a group.
After this, you may be offered a place straight away or you may be put on a waiting list.
If the Foyer isn’t right for you at this time, you may go on a waiting list or be asked to re-apply later. If you are not offered a Foyer place you will still get some assistance with TAFE training options.
You can fill this form out by yourself and send it to us, or fill it out with someone you trust. You can complete this online by typing into the fields on the form and then emailing it to us, or print it out and complete it manually.
