Everybody can dance: young old, child men women. It brings people together.
I am from the Congo. I arrived in Australia in 2008 to be with my family.
One day I woke up and started to dance because I needed my daughter to see me happy. So every morning I put on music to be happy.
My friends said to me “you finished university you are educated but you are a great dancer”. Dance has brought joy and meaning to my life again.
I started to dance for events and now I run Congolese dance classes for everybody.
I find joy in seeing people happy. Dance brings joy.
I really want to help a lot of women to open up, to lift their spirits, have confidence and to inspire them.
