My life goal is to provide my traditional food everywhere in Australia.
I was born and raised in Pakistan. I have only been in Australia for three short years. I am still trying to learn the language and the customs here. My husband lost his job a while back and it made me realise that perhaps it was important for us to have better financial security. So I thought why can’t I start a small business and still be there for my children?
I learned to cook traditional Sri Lankan food from my mother. My product is unique because nobody else is making this food and using organic ingredients. My business is ready to eat food such as: spinach pakora, potato curry, eggplant curry. I love to cook so this business makes me very happy. My life goal is to provide my traditional food everywhere in Australia. We need to eat healthy. I am hopeful to achieve my Stepping Stones goal, one small step at a time.
