Group General Manager, Programs and Policy
Rob Hudson oversees the Brotherhood of St Laurence’s programs in the community and helps lead policy development.
Rob has held leadership roles in the community sector including as executive director of both the Youth Affairs Council of Victoria and the Victorian Council of Social Service. He also served as a senior advisor to then Deputy Prime Minister Brian Howe. He has also been a CEO of the employment service agency, WorkPlacement.
Rob was an MP in the Victorian Parliament from 2002 to 2010, during which he served as Parliamentary Secretary to then Premier John Brumby. Rob chairs the Balibo House Trust, an organisation promoting development in East Timor. He has degrees in Social Work and Law.
