The Revd Dr Alexander Ross is Vicar of Saint John’s Finch Street with Saint Agnes’ Glen Huntly. He completed his undergraduate study in Australia and graduate studies at the universities of Oxford and Cambridge.

Dr Ross also serves as a Director on the School Council of Melbourne Grammar School, and as a member of the Trinity College Theological School Committee. He is an elected delegate to the Provincial Council of the Anglican Province of Victoria, as well as the General Synod of the Anglican Church of Australia. He is Sharwood Lecturer in Canon Law at Trinity College Melbourne, an Honorary Postdoctoral Associate of the University of Divinity, and one of nine Anglican theologians appointed by the Archbishop of Canterbury and Secretary-General of the Anglican Communion to be a member of the Anglican-Roman Catholic International Commission (ARCIC).

Dr Ross was a member of the Brotherhood of St Laurence’s Quality and Care Governance Committee between 2020 and 2022 and joined the BSL Board in April 2022, and is a member of the David Scott School Council.
