Jenny Grayling

Jenny Grayling was appointed Company Secretary in 2005. Her broad responsibilities at the Brotherhood of St Laurence include human resources, IT, property and asset management as well as oversight of the volunteer, chaplaincy and fundraising divisions.

Jenny has over 30 years experience as a senior manager in human resources and industrial relations roles, including with retailer Myer and automotive company BTR Nylex. Jenny also lived in Taiwan for three years working with manufacturer ICI (now Orica).

In the early 2000s, she served for six years as a board member of the homeless service Hanover Welfare Services (now Launch Housing). Jenny has a law degree.


The Brotherhood of St Laurence (BSL) acknowledges and understands its obligations under the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and recognises that all children and young people have the right to be treated with respect and care, and to be safe from all forms of abuse. BSL has a zero tolerance towards child abuse.
