Team Leader Finance Administration
Hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week

An exciting opportunity exists to lead, guide and oversee a designated team of Finance Administrators in the delivery of professional and timely processing of invoices for payment to our providers and clients.
Summary of program and its objectives
The Retirement and Ageing division at the Brotherhood of St Laurence provides residential services, independent living accommodation for people on low incomes, home based, and day and respite services for older people and people with disabilities living in their homes.
Main responsibilities of the role
The Team Leader – Financial Administration leads, guides and oversees a designated team of Finance Administrators in the delivery of professional and timely processing of invoices for payment to our providers and clients. This relates to entering data onto The Care Manager (TCM) 2077 database, maintaining accounts, overseeing client Debit Cards and general administrative duties including providing administration support to the Managers and Case Managers.
Critical to the success of this role is to work as per Brotherhood’s Consumer Directed Care (CDC) model within a person centered, customer focused and active service framework. This model assumes all consumers have the ability to self-manage their home care packages.
To meet the selection criteria, candidate will require:
- demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable with proven ability to reconcile accounts
- proven ability to lead a diverse team effectively
- demonstrated experience in the provision of a broad range of administration duties
- ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships and liaise across all levels both internally and externally and from diverse backgrounds
- ability to work under pressure and prioritise work to meet deadlines
- well-developed organisational skills and ability to plan own workload
- demonstrated knowledge and competency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Outlook and Word
- understanding of and empathy with the values and ideals of the Brotherhood.
- knowledge and/or experience in quality assurance processes
- experience in using The Care Manager (TCM) database software
- experience in using Landmark
- demonstrated knowledge of Consumer Directed Care (CDC), Person Centred Care and the Active Service Model
- current Victorian Driving License.
This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week. Salary will be in the range of $55,772 to $59,783 per annum based on skills and experience plus superannuation. Attractive salary packaging provisions are available to increase take home pay.
