About Sumner House
Sumner House is a fully accredited facility in Fitzroy that provides high quality residential care. It caters for 42 residents with low and high-care needs, offering a warm, homely environment and an innovative lifestyle program with activities for learning, socialisation and personal development.
Staff at Sumner support clients as they maintain independence and lifestyle choices, and connect and contribute to the community. Residents are involved in all decision making about their care, choosing what they need and how we can help to achieve it.
Relatives are encouraged to be part of the life of Sumner House. They are also consulted as we tailor care to best meet the individual needs of their loved ones.
Who can live at Sumner House?
To qualify to live at Sumner House an ACAS (Aged Care Assessment Service) assessment is required. Please contact us for further information or to arrange a visit to Sumner House.

Sumner House offers:

- a dynamic group activity program
- proximity to public transport.
Residents can also access the Sumner House Extra Services program, for which they pay an accommodation bond and a higher daily fee.
