This course is for people who are just beginning to learn English. The course will help you speak, read and write in simple English.

At the end of the course you will be able to:

• improve your vocabulary and conversation skills outside of the classroom
• read and understand short, simple sentences
• use technology to help you communicate in English
• have simple English conversations with others
• understand simple words and ideas from more difficult texts
• write short, simple sentences in English
• read and understand simple English on your computer, mobile phone and the internet.

This course is for people who are learning English and offers further help in finding work. This course will teach you the English language skills you need to work in Australia, and help you understand the culture of an Australian workplace. 

Our trainers will help you to build your English skills so that you can succeed at your job in Australia. They will help you to understand, speak, read and write to:

• create a learning plan and resume / CV
• use basic digital technology
• travel around your area easily using buses, trains, trams and cars
• communicate with customers
• make simple word processed documents
• read and write simple texts for employment.
