Peninsula Youth Connections

About the program
Peninsula Youth Connections assists young people who are most at risk of disengaging from education or training and therefore not attaining Year 12 or equivalent, and not making a successful transition into further study, training or work.
The program works with a spectrum of at-risk youth, from those at risk of disengaging from school through to those who are severely disengaged from education, family and community. It is flexible, seamless and tailored to the young person’s personal situation and circumstances. It aims to build their resilience, develop their personal skills and improve their wellbeing.
Peninsula Youth Connections also has a role in strengthening services in the region, by assisting education providers and other organisations to build their own capacity to work with at-risk young people.
Youth Connections is funded by the Commonwealth of Australia as represented by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations. The Brotherhood delivers Peninsula Youth Connections in partnership with Taskforce Community Agency across Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula.
