Homework Centre

About the centre
Doing homework in a crowded home and having no-one able to offer help makes it harder to get good results in class. With the Homework Centre, the Brotherhood provides a quiet environment where secondary students can study with assistance from volunteer and staff tutors.
Established 21 years ago, the Homework Centre runs after school on weekdays at Fitzroy Library. Students can receive help with homework, exam preparation and applications for tertiary courses.
Particular attention is paid to disadvantaged students from refugee or migrant backgrounds, who may not have help, resources or space at home.
Who is eligible?
Students are eligible for the Homework Centre if they are studying in secondary school anywhere in Melbourne.
