Group Training Organisation
The Brotherhood has its own Group Training Organisation (GTO), which employs trainees and apprentices and hires them out to 'host' organisations. The GTO is the legal employer, looking after superannuation, payroll, WorkCover, training and any other administration associated with the employment contract. The GTO also provides high levels of support to the trainees and apprentices, and to the employers who host them.
As the Brotherhood is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) we can offer nationally recognised courses and traineeships, and through our GTO, we can place our trainees in work with host employers. This allows our trainees to get formal, recognised qualifications, real work experience and the confidence they need to move into mainstream jobs.
The GTO supports trainees across greater Melbourne and is located with the RTO at the Centre for Work and Learning.
