Hearts and Hands Playgroup

About the program
Meeting other parents is an ideal way to get tips on parenting through building connections and friendships. The Brotherhood provides a facilitated playgroup in Melbourne’s outer north that specialises in play that helps children develop and gives parents a chance to meet and raise family issues.
The Hearts and Hands Playgroup is run at the Brotherhood’s Craigieburn Centre on Monday mornings.
Who is eligible?
The Hearts and Hands Playgroup is open to parents who:
- live in or around the Craigieburn area
- have children under 5 years old.
Features
The Hearts and Hands Playgroup offers:
- structured play in a stimulating children’s indoor playroom equipped with toys, early learning tools, craft tables and materials for role play
- a large outdoor play area
- referrals to other services
- a light nutritious snack for children
- access to childcare professionals for advice
- the chance to build connections, friendships and support networks with other parents.
