Baby Book Club

About the program

Baby Book Club is a weekly playgroup for parents and babies that nurtures a love of literacy in children at a young age. Each session is filled with books and supported with other play experiences, recognising the importance of play in children’s learning. Baby Book Club shows that it is never too early to begin exploring books and that all parents, even if not confident readers themselves, can instil a love of books in their children.

At Baby Book Club, home language is valued and families are encouraged to share their favourite songs or rhymes from their cultures. The playgroup is facilitated by two multilingual early childhood educators.
