How Does This Thing Work?
About the program
How Does This Thing Work? provides opportunities for secondary students to spend time with some of the Brotherhood's disadvantaged and socially isolated clients.
The program involves students meeting the clients at a cafe and teaching them how to use their mobile phones. Each student works one-on-one with a client, over morning or afternoon tea. The students and clients meet four times, each session lasting approximately one hour.
Who is eligible?
This program is designed for secondary school students, particularly those in Years 9 and 10.
