Donate goods

Direct-to-shop donations

Our stores are happy to receive direct donations during trading hours. So after clearing out your cupboards and wardrobes, why not take your unwanted items to your local Brotherhood op shop?

Goods donated by companies

If your business has customer returns, samples or end-of-line stock taking up valuable space, please consider donating the goods to the Brotherhood. We are also always happy to receive second-hand office equipment and supplies such as stationery and furniture.

Every summer and winter the Brotherhood runs a Corporate Clothing Appeal throughout metropolitan Melbourne. We place bins-on-wheels in the workplaces of participating companies for employees to deposit unwanted, good quality business and casual clothing.

If you would like to arrange for collection of donated goods, please phone 1300 DONATE (1300 366 283).

Mobile phones wanted!

The Brotherhood, in partnership with Aussie Recycling Program ARP, is now recycling mobile phones and their spare parts. You can donate your unwanted mobile phones via collections boxes at any of our Brotherhood community stores.

Fridges wanted!

Our fridges program gives donated fridges a new lease of life by making them more energy- and cost-efficient. To donate a fridge and arrange collection, please complete the collection form or phone 1300 DONATE (1300 366 283).

Top 5 donation tips
  1. Shoes need a mate, so tie their laces together so they don't separate
  2. So we can make more loot from your suit, tie the sleeve and leg together
  3. As hard as we try we can't sell your old knickers and socks
  4. If the outfit is complete with a belt, make sure to attach it
  5. Wrap breakable items in paper or bubble wrap and mark the box 'fragile'

Please donate direct to your closest Brotherhood community store.
